In September 2014, Remedi SeniorCare’s Clinical Consultant Pharmacist, Alan S. Fox, R.Ph., was elected to the ASCP Secretary/Treasurer for the Ohio Chapter for a two year term. In this role, Alan will support the Society’s efforts with:

• Supporting professional development with continuing education
• Advocating for members state-specific concerns
• Working together with the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA), most notably the annual joint symposium

This affiliation aligns with Alan’s career and goals. A respected geriatric pharmacist (CGP), Alan has been a pharmacist for 27 years. For the past nine years, Alan has been active in the long term care industry, concentrating on continuity, correctness, compliance and cost to maximize care for Ohio’s seniors.

Alan earned his BS in pharmacy at the University of Toledo and is a past president of Northern Ohio Academy of Pharmacy.
